Paris-Patou: Reciprocal Influences in the 1920s

This talk explored the ways in which Parisian haute couture contributed to the branding of Paris, the so-called 'City of Light,' after First World War. Conversely, it analyzed the importance of the Paris ecosystem in fashion, art, and design for haute couture houses such as Jean Patou to thrive both nationally and internationally.
