1925: The Conquering Women

​This essay provides a chronology of Frenchwomen in the year of 1925. It focuses on career strategies of women in visual arts, architecture, and fashion, but also sport, journalism, and finance. This essay was part of the catalogue of the exhibition curated by Emmanuel Bréon at the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris from October 2013 to March 2014.
